I'd been chunking wedges off tight lies for years and just assumed it was my swing. Turned out my trailing edge was catching first on firm ground — one relief pass and that miss basically disappeared.

Nobody had ever measured my low point before. Once they showed me it sat almost two inches behind the ball, the whole camber conversation finally made sense.

My long irons and short irons finally feel like they came from the same set. The sole width step-down across the bag is subtle but you can feel it through turf.

I came in expecting a normal wedge fitting and left understanding heel and toe relief for the first time. My draw-biased miss off the toe is basically gone.

They regrind seasonally now that I've switched courses. Explaining that clay-turf grinds and sand-based turf grinds aren't the same thing was the most useful ten minutes of any fitting I've had.

Full bag session took a little under two hours and I left with a spec sheet I actually understood, grind terms included. Worth the drive from Lynchburg.
