Beyond Standard Fitting

Sole Grind Add-Ons for Irons and Wedges

Once head and shaft are decided, iron and wedge sessions can move to the bench for a sole grind pass — camber shaping, trailing-edge relief, sole width adjustment, or heel/toe relief, cut to your low-point read. This is an optional stage, not a required upsell; plenty of clients leave with a standard fitting and no grind work at all.

When We Recommend Skipping It

If your low-point read and current strike pattern already line up well with your stock sole, we say so — a grind should solve a real mismatch, not add a line item to every invoice.
